Holiday Calendar= Delish.

Sorry that i havent been posting any posts recently, but this week has been EXTREMELY hectic.. It wasnt very pleasant either.. I was sick (Just before the weekend =/), I had LOADS of very important tests ands I had a whole load of bad luck.. But Today totally made up 4 it =D So anyway...I probably wont have acesss to the internet from thursday onwards.. for just under a week.. As i'll be on holiday. So till then I'll try to post as many posts as possible. Anyway.. now for the stardoll world...

New Starpoint Hairstyle

I hope we're allowed to feature fellow writers in the blog, because I noticed punkyfish2007 wearing this hairstyle and I adored it!

I couldn't find it in my Styling Studio, so I'm guessing you need more than 4310 starpoints to get it.

But if it's just a glitch in my system and everyone else has it, I envy them.

Although for now the only people I envy are those with 4310 starpoints!

Yup, the Halloween items are out, and there are 4 items from last year's for sure, if not more. What do you think about them?

Is This The End?

I couldn't help noticing, while browsing every website I knew, that Style Magazine hasn't published any issues since June, and even then it was a June/July issue, which frankly wasn't really original and I couldn't see anything new.

Also, Teen Style isn't seeming to do too well either. First of all, it's currently seemingly incapable of publishing an entire issue at once, and second, it too has published a September/ October issue, which they first published in September, and now it's the end of October, so...

Is Style Magazine's time in the spotlight about to fade?

Stardoll Glitch Again!

Yes, Stardoll have messed up again! 21 million users skin colour was changed to a more African-American skin tone.... then it got worse... - looking like they had been tarred... I think the best way to tell this story is in pictures...

Will Stardoll fix this mess? Or will we be stuck looking like bog monsters forever????

10 Hot Trends For Fall

I was going around stardoll, when I stumbled upon this:
I personally love all of it exept the knitted (im still thinking about it)the velvet (ehh) and the pattern (when i think of pattern i think of the amazing Emilio Pucci patterns!) I personally love everything else especially the feathers, Boho Deluxe, checked and Studs! Lets hope they'll soon be released!

How Did They Dress?

So, my first ever party was on earlier tonight, not as many people attended as I had hoped, but we had a lot of fun anyway =]. I definately had about 20 people who said they would be there are were not but it was just them who missed out! Unfortunately it was rudely interupted by a large computer crash...

Anyway, here are some of the best costumes I saw tonight!


First of all, the ultimately best costume of the night, Miss_LV_, who dressed as Ursula from The Little Mermaid and made a stunning effort which really paid off. The hair and make-up were also perfect and gave the costume an edge over others which I saw. Just for anyone who doesn't know what Ursula looks like, i have included a picture.




Next is a girl who also looked fantastic, MollyMasquerade who was dressed as a cute Autumn nymph. This adorable look was so pretty, and the leafy headband set off the dress nicely. The beautiful shoes, leaf necklace and gold shoes were also key in this costume as they conveyed the message of nature, which was important for this look.




Yasas10 made a visit at my party as a fairy and although she didn't stay long, she is worth a mention for her outfit, in particular the creative wings. Pretty as a picture :)




To_Royal had a fantastic layered outfit and equally as creative hair, which made her really stand out from the crowd! Check it! I really love how all the colours match so well too, so the dress looks like one piece - genius!

"Knock-off" items

I know punkyfish just made a post about how angry she was about the "Chanel" items... or should i say the fake Chanel items... Im so angry that stardoll didn't get persmission from chanel! There might some other reason... But what would it be? I bought the following items, practically, cos they looked cute with the chanel logo, now the top looks like tennis wear (no offence at all to those who play tennis)


I will probably never wear that top, so probably it will go straight to my starbazaar (when possible) The bags (like the Fendi Clutch from this months hotbuys) Look like knock-offs! Same thing with the belt!

Stardoll - I want my money back!!!!

I recently bought luxurious "Chanel" items - a bag and a belt, as well as perfume - containing the prestigous !

So, I go to put on my fabulous belt and show off my bag when I am confronted with these less than impressive items with only an "O" on them. And my perfume looked stupid too, with "Stardoll" printed across it in a blurry, fuzzy manor.

I only bought these items because they were Chanel, why the hell would I want cheap perfume or "O" branded accessories? I spent 13 stardollars altogether on this lot and now I am stuck with a bunch of crap!!!! I use my own REAL money to pay for my virtual money which paid for these, so I want a refund Stardoll! I work hard for the money I earn, not for it to be wasted because Stardoll screwed up and got involved in a bit of copyright infringement! Its not my fault they don't know the law, but why should WE be punished????

So sign in a comment here if you too want a refund on you knock-off items! Don't let Stardoll steal from us by luring us in with fake clothes!
